Die Antwoord is a South African alt. hip-hop group known for their aggressive rap and raw rave music. Their lyrics are filled with profanity and controversial imagery, and they use mainly three languages - English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa. Die Antwoord considers themselves pioneers and flag-bearers of the subculture called zef, which is a street culture of working-class youth in South Africa.
